Yesterday... it rained.

and rained, and rained. We had a nice day anyway, exploring the islands in the 'liquid sunshine'.

Luckily, thanks to the unseasonably high water, we had finished our 14 miles just in time to miss the heaviest rain while enjoying lunch in Millersburg. It's amazing how cheesecake lifts one's spirits.

By this morning, the clouds are breaking up and te forecast is for perfect, cool weather as the front blows through.
