Private Mainstem Day 7

Jeremy Quant

Mist and haze greeted us on the morning of our last day, and stayed with us through the last 10 miles of paddling in to Safe Harbor hydro dam.

But the weather held, and after a nice stop at Shank's Mare Outfitters for lunch (and suvenier t-shirts) we paddled on to the finish.

Merrily prepares to 'saddle up' for the last time on our little adventure.

Along with the haze abd mist came glassy smooth water all the way across the Safe Harbor lake.

Congratulations to the whole team on a safe and successful trip, and an especially big congratulations to Merrily and Martha and having now completed all 444 miles of Susquehanna River from Cooperstown, NY to Havre de Grace, MD!
