Allan Quant, Lead Guide
Allan has been patiently and enthusiastically helping others learn to canoe and kayak since 1970. He spent 25 years as an American Canoe Association Instructor for whitewater open boats, won first place in his class in the 1987 USCA National Marathon Canoe Championships and has served as the Safety Coordinator for over 50 different week-long river sojourns in Pennsylvania, New York and Maryland. Allan is trained in Wilderness First Aid, CPR, Water Rescue Phase 2, Search and Rescue Tech 2, and as a Leave-No-Trace Trainer. Allan is a member of the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Organization of Watersheds and Rivers.
Betsy Quant, Operations Manager and Guide
Betsy has been sharing the river with others since she and Allan met in college. She is trained in Wilderness First Aid, CPR, Water Rescue Phase 2, Search and Rescue Tech 2, and as a Leave-No-Trace Trainer. Betsy is a member of the Citizen's Advisory Committee to the Chesapeake Bay Executive Council.
Jeremy Quant, Photographer and Guide
Jeremy has been in canoes since before he could walk and talk. From flatwater to whitewater, Jeremy is enthusiastic about sharing all aspects of canoeing and kayaking. He is a certified Wilderness First Responder and ACA Whitewater Kayak Instructor. Jeremy enjoys all forms of paddling, biking and climbing.

Matt Stan, Marketing Coordinator and Guide
Matt is a Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician and member of the National Registry of EMTs. Matt has built a reputation for his meticulous treatment of the wounds, blisters, bruises, and other injuries encountered around the water.
